Cheers to 45 Years of ‘To Whom it May Concern’

To Whom It May Concern was the Bee Gees’ tenth studio album. It was released in 1972 and reached No. 35 on the Billboard 200 charts. The album was known as the end of an era for the Bee Gees, and many of the tracks were old songs finished up or rewritten for the occasion.

In the 2010 documentary, In Our Own Time, Maurice explained that the band did not know who their audience was in the early 70’s. The album’s title, To Whom It May Concern, was the result of this uncertainty.
