Behind the Track: “Heartbreaker”

Take an inside look behind the Bee Gees track “Heartbreaker”.

“Heartbreaker,” a song originally written by The Bee Gees, was released as a single in 1982 by singer Dionne Warwick. The song featured Barry Gibb’s backing vocals on the chorus, and was written by all three Gibb brothers.

The song made it to #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and to #1 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart. The Bee Gees’ own version was recorded in Miami during the recording session for The Bee Gees twenty-first studio album ‘Still Waters’  but was not released until 2001.
